One photo, a new moving scene

Vidu Q4 reference to video

Use one reference image to guide a short Vidu Q4 video. Describe the subject, setting, and camera movement, then review a fixed 175-credit price before generating. This version produces one five-second 720p landscape 16:9 clip without sound.

Fit

Give a familiar subject a new shot

Vidu Q4 reference to video starts with a photo that explains what your subject looks like. Your description supplies the scene and movement. Begin with one clear subject and one camera idea. Five seconds gives you room for an establishing movement or a brief action, rather than a sequence of unrelated events.

  • A reference guides appearance

The reference image helps communicate shape, color, materials, clothing, or other visible details. It does not promise a pixel-for-pixel copy. The model may change framing, lighting, proportions, or smaller features while constructing the video. Name the two or three details that matter most, and review them across the entire result before choosing a clip for your project.

  • Describe one continuous action

Choose one slow camera move or one gentle action. Explain what moves and what stays still. For an object study, you might keep the object stationary and move only the camera. Avoid asking for a close-up, a wide shot, a new location, and several actions in the same five seconds.

  • Choose a subject reference or a starting frame

A subject reference and a starting frame serve different purposes. Vidu uses this image as a visual reference when building the shot; your exact composition is not guaranteed to appear as its first frame. If your task depends on beginning from a particular finished image, compare the site's image-to-video workflows and their stated input behavior before spending credits. Choose the workflow that matches the shot you actually need.

Input

Prepare one clear image

Upload one image that you own or have permission to use. A well-lit photo with a visible subject and a simple background gives you a clearer starting point for reviewing the result. This page accepts one reference image; it does not combine multiple references or accept a reference video.

Make the important details readable

Check the image before uploading. Blurred labels, obscured features, reflections, and heavy compression can make the subject harder to describe accurately. Follow the upload form's current file-format and size checks. If the image is rejected, choose a supported file and prepare it again before requesting a video.

Write the movement, setting, and ending

Describe your subject in ordinary language, then specify a setting, one movement, and the ending view. You do not need special reference tags. A useful object prompt could ask for a slow camera arc in a warm studio while keeping the object's shape and color recognizable. State whether the subject itself remains still. You can edit the text to fit your own image, and the form keeps the price visible before you confirm generation.

Use appropriate subjects and review permissions

For a first experiment, an original object or a fictional scene is a practical choice. Use photos of people only when you have appropriate permission, and avoid sensitive or misleading uses. Input and text checks may stop a request before generation. Passing those checks does not prove that you have rights to every depicted design, person, or brand, or that an output is suitable for a particular commercial use.

Limits

Know the clip you are buying

The current Movelume workflow is deliberately specific: one reference image, one five-second video, 720p resolution, landscape 16:9 framing, and no generated sound. The price is 175 credits per generation. Review these fixed settings before you confirm.

Silent output means no dialogue or soundtrack

This clip does not include generated speech, music, or sound effects. A prompt that describes someone speaking will not create an audible voice in this workflow. Plan to add sound separately in your own editing process if you need it. There is no voice upload, audio reference, or sound toggle on this page, and this generation price does not include a separate audio service.

Appearance and motion need a final review

Inspect the beginning, middle, and ending of the downloaded clip. Look for changes in the subject's outline, surface details, faces, hands, reflections, and contact with the background. Small object interactions or precise lettering can be inconsistent. Decide whether the result fits your own quality standard before sharing it.

Make your clip

From a reference image to a saved clip

  1. 01

Choose one image and a single shot idea

You can prepare your image and description before signing in. Use a clear view of the subject, and decide whether you want subject movement or a camera movement.

  2. 02

Sign in and prepare the reference

Your account associates the upload, credits, and saved result with you. Follow any image or text guidance shown by the form. If an input is unavailable or does not pass a check, correct the issue before continuing. You do not need to create a separate payment for each clip when you already have enough valid credits.

  3. 03

Review the exact 175-credit price, then confirm once

If your available balance is too low, use the existing plans and credit options to decide whether to continue. Do not send the same shot again simply because the page is still waiting. Keep the original task open or return to it from your history to check its progress.

  4. 04

    Watch and download the result

Review the full clip and save the video when it is ready. Your history provides a way back to the same task. Changing the prompt or choosing another generation creates a new request with its own price; it is not a free correction to the previous result. Support can help investigate a task that does not reach a clear result.

Vidu Q4 questions

01Can I put my reference subject in a new scene?

Yes. Describe the scene you want and which visible details should remain recognizable. The image guides the subject rather than locking every pixel or the first frame. Keep the request focused on one subject and a simple shot, and inspect the output for unintended changes. Consistency is a goal, not a guarantee of an exact match.

02How many reference images can I upload here?

One. This Movelume workflow uses a single image and a text description. It does not accept multiple image references, a reference video, or a voice recording. If you have several possible photos, choose the one that most clearly shows the subject and the view relevant to your intended shot.

03How long is the video, and does it have sound?

Each generation produces one five-second 720p landscape 16:9 video without sound. Duration and resolution are fixed for this version, and there is no audio option. Use the clip as a visual shot and add any music, dialogue, captions, or other edits separately in the tools you normally use.

04How much does one generation cost?

One generation costs 175 credits. The form shows the price before you confirm. Existing valid credits can be used; this page does not promise a free Vidu generation. Plans and credit-purchase eligibility follow the site's existing pricing rules. A changed prompt or a new generation is a separately priced request.

05What if my subject changes or an action looks wrong?

Review the whole clip before using it. A new attempt may benefit from a clearer reference or a simpler motion description, but this page cannot promise that another generation will fix every detail. Deciding to generate again creates another paid request. Contact support if the issue concerns a technical failure or an unclear task state.

06Should I click Generate again while a result is pending?

No. Return to the existing task or use your history to check the same request. A slow response does not establish that generation failed. Starting another request can spend credits again. If the original task remains unclear, provide its details to support instead of submitting repeated copies of the same shot.

07Are uploads and results saved to my account?

Uploads, task details, history, and downloads are associated with the signed-in owner. Keep any downloaded copy you need for your own project and follow the site's privacy policy for information about storage and handling.
